P.A.C.T. (Pastors Against Crime and Trauma) unites Montgomery clergy to combat crime, support victims, and strengthen community resilience. Led by Rev. Dr. Marcus B. Hunter, we engage in prayer walks, youth outreach, and law enforcement support. Join us to foster a safer, more supportive, and unified Montgomery.

To unite the clergy of Montgomery, Alabama, in a concerted effort to reduce crime, support victims, and foster community resilience through faith-based initiatives, advocacy, and collaboration with local authorities.
To leverage the moral authority and community influence of the clergy to address violent crime, support law enforcement, and promote healing and peace within the city of Montgomery.
P.A.C.T. will achieve its goals of a safer and more successful community by implementing the following;
– Emergency Assistance: Develop a fund to provide emergency financial assistance to victims of crime for medical bills, relocation, and other urgent needs.
Assist the Montgomery Police Department in recruiting efforts, boosting morale, and advocating for necessary resources.
Work towards decreasing incidents of murder, homicide, and burglary through community engagement and preventative measures.
Offer emotional and spiritual support to victims and their families, helping them to heal and recover.
Strengthen community bonds and encourage cooperation between residents and law enforcement.
